Description

Maintenance position for residential and light commercial buildings in Marina, CA 93933 (On the coast of Monterey Bay). General responsibilities include completing turnovers, maintenance work orders and general maintenance needs of the buildings. Trouble-shooting and repair of existing work is emphasized in this position. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, dry wall, and appliance repair. Attributes, skills, and abilities desired: - Friendly yet professional disposition. - Ability to communicate clearly. - Present a professional appearance while on the job. - Attention to detail. - Ability to assess priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines. - Basic computer proficiency for searching topics and ordering supplies. - Own basic tools for repairs. Other tools will be provided. - Ability to lift, carry push or pull up to 60lbs. - Ability to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time, intermittent bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavy weight material/appliances/ equipment), climbing ladders/stairs, and walking on rooftops. - Must have normal range of hearing, vision, color discrimination and depth perception for proper operation of machines and equipment. Candidates will be subject to background check. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and insurance is required. General work hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. This is an on-call position in the event of an emergency maintenance issue (A seldom occurrence).
