Japanese eyewear company is looking for several Customer Support/Assistant Manager for their Retail location at Santa Clara AND San Francisco. Optical experience is preferred but not Required. Position title and pay rate: Negotiable (DOE) Full-time only Essential Job Functions: ●Ensure customer happiness with stellar customer service and demonstrate a high level of professionalism ●Address customer needs in a prompt and friendly manner, while actively seeking to understand customer concerns, requests, and expectations ●Understand and handle customer complaints regarding products, services, sales, or other matters with honesty and integrity, while taking initiative to find appropriate resolutions ●Ensure speed, efficiency, and accuracy in creating eyewear products ●Foster a warm, vibrant, and friendly atmosphere by being a supportive and compassionate team member ●Actively participate in-store staff meetings to improve customer service, store operations, and sales goals ●Provide appropriate training and support to less experienced team members and be a leader in demonstrating exemplary work ethic ●Adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses to suit each customer's unique preferences ●Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceed customer expectations, and lead by example. ●Pre-testing for eye exams Qualifications: ●High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) ●ABO Certification preferred ●One year of retail experience ●Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays. ●Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship-building skills. ●Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment ●Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room Benefits: ●401(k) ●Dental insurance ●Employee discount ●Flexible schedule ●Health insurance ●Paid time off ●Vision insurance
