Looking for Room mate for New August-July 2026 Lease, as well as June & July 2025 at the prior lease rate. This is a special offer for the right person because I am only making this public post after being notified about the NEW Rent amount that is being adjusted after NEW Ownership (the property was sold in September 2024). This lease is/was $795 month, and will be during the final two months of the current Lease, I am prepping for the increase by requesting applicants online (more zillow details, by request). This may change but the RENT is paid via that website for now. RENTAL DETAILS: 1BR available in 2 BR Apartment next to big mall in Coralville for $550 per month. (some utilities included are GAS, Electric at Mid America for $35 each) * NOTE: There is No Application fee from me, but the new Land Lord likely will require you to apply with them directly, regarding new lease terms, and for the current monthly RENTAL amount, with application Fee around $40, yet unkown as of this post. The location is great for me since I am employed long term nearby, and the cost going up is only a formality of the four-plex being sold to a new Owner in late 2024. The new lease will be similar with the condition of NON Smoking Building being enforced from here on out. I am male in my 40's looking for a great person to take on half the RENTAL unit ASAP. I have steady income, no legal issues and no Drug, No Drama policy. You should too. The small 2 BR is ground level, with my own highspeed internet on hand at no extra charge, (new Dishwasher, Elec Stove, planned Flooring upgrades for next season) and we may share the Attached garage, but depends on lease terms. 2 x parking spots available. Honestly I have no Idea why they are increasing the Monthly total by such a large amount in August 2025 but the New Owner has his own agendas, obviously. I recently found the email from the property management team stating the new amount is $1100, with optoin to renew soon. I know the market but this is unexpected at this rate. I plan to stay here with in the neighborhood anyhow, if I do or do NOT find a great roomie, and make plans for the future, as needed. Please inquire to take a peek at the Room available here and meet me before August arrives. This is short term notice to me, a situation I will figure out on my own. If you are transitioning, working close by, need more options, I am only allowing applicants for 2025-2026 lease term, with option for June & July on top at the initial RENTAL rate stated on current lease. The condition of the Apartment was not the best when I took over the unit back in 2023, and I cleaned up the BATH, Floors and walls to live more comforatably, but if you want to know more about this offer, please use the Email communication from this post.
