We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and managing client billing with precision and efficiency using TABS3, LEDES e-billing formats, and CenterBase case management software. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing, compliance with client billing guidelines, and timely revenue collection. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit monthly invoices using TABS3 and CenterBase Create and format invoices in compliance with LEDES billing standards Review and edit pre-bills based on attorney and client specifications Submit invoices to third-party e-billing platforms (e.g., CounselLink, Serengeti, Legal-X) Track and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected invoices, or reductions Maintain accurate billing records and client billing preferences in CenterBase Assist attorneys and staff with billing inquiries and reporting Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices as needed Support time entry procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Stay up to date on client billing guidelines and ensure ongoing compliance Qualifications: 2+ years of legal billing experience, preferably in a law firm setting Proficiency in TABS3, LEDES billing formats, and CenterBase required Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with e-billing platforms and billing compliance standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of confidentiality and discretion Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
