Our firm is seeking a highly qualified individual to work in Riverdale, Maryland and Washington DC to provide facility support. This individual must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a comprehensive background check. Typical duties include the following: ~ Responsible for assembly, disassembly, reassembly, and delivery/installation of various office furniture and office equipment based on customer requests and requirements ~ Setup/take down tables and chairs for meetings and conferences ~ Wipe down dry erase boards in meeting, training, and conference rooms ~ Setup tables in the lobby and lounges for special events ~ Setup and take down signs outside conference center and training rooms ~ Monitor/check miscellaneous supplies in common areas of the building ~ Maintain inventory of blue bins. Issue and recollect blue bins as established by the agency ~ Perform minor system furniture reconfiguration ~ Move/relocate desktop computers, printers, tables, desk, hutch, credenzas, file cabinets, bookcases, safes, chairs, sofa’s, government purchased standard size refrigerators and other similar items ~ Assemble office furniture received from commercial vendor (desk, chairs, bookcases, shelving units) If you believe you are qualified for this position, please send your resume to the email provided ~ Assists in maintaining a facility that is clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently Requirements: ~ Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language in order to follow detailed verbal and/or written work instructions, to interpret diagrams and floor plans and to make accurate measurements ~ A minimum of one (1) year of experience and/or training in the correct methods of packing and moving office furnishings/equipment, including the proper use of padding, blankets, dollies, moving carts, pallet jacks and forklifts ~ Individually have the physical ability and dexterity to safely lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds ~ A minimum of two (2) years of experience with operation of hand and light power tools to accomplish minor repairs, handcraft and assembly work.
