Well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor / Project Manager. Must be a California-licensed PLS, or LSIT with intent to take the LS exam within the next year. Must have good communications, documentation, and quality control skills. You will be directing field and office staff at all levels on transportation and educational projects throughout California. Survey work is primarily on planning and design phases of projects and will involve topographic surveys, boundary and right of way surveys, right of way engineering documents, and control networks and reports. Provide a one page resume that lists: 1. Education and/or degrees 2. Certifications you have and if they are current (LSIT, PLS, BART, Railroad, TWICs card, OSHA, Party Chief, ...) 3. Availability date 4. Office experience with Trimble, Autocad, Microstation, Microsoft Office, Lidar... 5. Field /office experience with point codes and automatic linework. Familiarity with Caltrans or Railroad surveying and procedures is a plus. Pay is based on experience and certifications. Work is in office/at project sites. Remote work is not available for this position Benefits include company vehicle, 401K with 25% match, family medical insurance coverage, paid OT. Flexible schedule after probationary period.
