Qualifications: • CDL Class A required • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Amara Restaurant is seeking PM line cooks. The cuisine is Mediterranean upscale casual dining concept revolving around small plates and sharable large plates. The kitchen is brand new built up from the studs for our purpose. This is not a casual Falafel place and we do not serve wraps and fries and such. I am a small construction company that is about a year and a half old. We work in a very localized area in Santa Cruz fixing and remodeling homes. My work can go from plumbing to electrical to carpentry to landscaping. We offer a broad variety of home services and the person I am seeking should be well rounded and able to figure their way through a variety of customer needs. This person should be able to perform complete and clean work for my customers without supervision. You should have knowledge and experience in a variety of work and should also be resourceful in situations that are not familiar with. You should be able to lift 60 plus pounds and able to get up on ladders and down under houses. You may be leading another of my staff some days and others working directly with me.
