Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team. In this vital role, you will work alongside our experienced Oncologists to provide high-quality care for pets diagnosed with cancer. Your compassion and expertise will make a direct impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians in all aspects of oncology patient care, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment Prepare patients for chemotherapy and other oncological procedures Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including chemotherapies and other IV therapies Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and perform vital sign checks Collect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood work and urine samples Provide education and emotional support to pet owners about treatment options and care plans Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is up to date Assist in the upkeep of the oncology treatment area and ensure all equipment is properly prepared and cleaned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician, preferably in an oncology or specialty setting Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and materials Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners Proficiency with veterinary software and basic computer skills Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Paid Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Safe Harbor 401K with Company Match Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Personal) Holiday Pay Short Term & Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Team Member Pet Wellness Plan Team Member Pet Discount Continuing Education Uniform Allowance Tuition Reimbursement
