Key Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition in an emergency and critical care setting Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, including triage, wound care, and life-saving interventions Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by the veterinary team Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies required for emergency procedures Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood work and urinalysis Provide anesthesia monitoring for critical patients Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' conditions, treatments, and progress Support the team by keeping the workspace organized and well-stocked Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a high-energy environment This is a full-time daytime position with 12 hour shifts, scheduled three days per week. Available shift options include: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. ***Sign-on Bonus *** Shift Differentials: Sunday - Thursday Night differential $4.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Friday/Saturday Night differential $6.00 (7:30p - 7:30a) Saturday/Sunday Daytime differential $2.00 (7:30a - 7:30p) What are you waiting for? Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT), preferred Previous experience in ICU is required.
