Chateau Cupertino Retirement Residence is an Independent Living Community for seniors, with a vibrant & close-knit atmosphere. We provide full services to our residents including, but not limited to; homestyle gourmet menus for each meal, weekly housekeeping, valet, personal laundry service and an extensive activity calendar! We're seeking for full time pastry cook/baker. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Our kitchen prepares upwards to 3 meals a day for our senior residents and as the pastry cook/baker, you’ll be responsible for preparing desserts and baked goods for the meals. This will include, but not limited to, morning breads and muffins, fresh baked bread, dinner rolls, pies, cakes and any other assorted bakery items. In addition, the pastry cook/baker will assist in breakfast service by expediting orders and some light breakfast cooking such as eggs, pancakes, etc. Other duties will include, but not limited to, receiving and stock inventory and cost control, assisting prep cooks, cleaning cooking utensils and any other duties as requested.
