Maintenance Technician I Schedule: M-F 7:00am-4:30pm Payrate: $21/hr. Job Description: This position is entry-level; the employee makes basic repairs and is able to diagnose larger problems and refer them to the appropriate staff person. Uses company-supplied materials and equipment and must be able to understand manufacturer’s recommendations and directions. Has ongoing contact with on-site management and office personnel, other maintenance technicians and residents of the property. Performs necessary and minor repairs and preventive maintenance on rental units as they become vacant. May assist as required and assigned in painting of interior units, office, laundry rooms, common areas and occupied units.
