Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities What We're Hiring For: CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE POSITION AND WILL REQUIRE ON SITE LOCATION WITH DAILY SUPERVISION, TRAINING, AND ROLE MODELING RESPONSIBILITIES. Looking for someone who is dependable and has own reliable transportation and willing to travel within a 1 hour radius of Fife Lake. Must have at least 3 years years of documented work experience as a Construction Supervisor. Leading by example is the preferred method for our company by someone who is humble and able to teach and learn. We want someone who is willing to work hard and do the work correctly and expeditiously. IOB is hoping to build into the community with providing affordable housing and a livable wage so the Neighbors we hire need to be dependable and dedicated to working for a greater purpose. We want Neighbors to work for us who are not under the influence of any drugs whatsoever but we do review backgrounds on a case by case basis. Job requires lifting and moving and bending and is quite physically demanding. We do roofing, siding, drywalling, framing, demolition..anything remodeling related as well as brand new home constructions. We are a new company and building up quickly. Pay is increased based on employee and company performance, not cost of living or yearly intervals. We do our best to promote from within based on skills, dedication, and actions. Pay is bi-weekly. PURPOSE Serves as the Carpenter for the assigned department. Reports timely to project leader on site and performs tasks as needed/assigned. Adheres to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Travels between job sites as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Provides labor as carpenter on projects as assigned, including but not limited to drywall hanging and finishing, acoustical ceiling grid installation, exterior insulation, framing, etc. • Represents the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner. • Must be able to comprehend basic instructions. • Willingness to ask for help when needed. • Must be on-time to jobsites. • Read Tape Measure, knowledge of basic carpentry tools • Basic Math Skills • Ability to Learn and comprehend basic instructions • Provides Own Transportation • Physical Strength and Stamina • Team Oriented - Cooperate with Ritsema field leaders in performing assigned tasks. • Be willing to complete additional tasks as needed. • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. This position requires being able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly, bending, kneeing, and twisting. This position also requires that the employee provide, maintain, and replace their own hand tools. Power tools and specialty tools will be provided by the employer. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Provides labor as flooring installer on projects as assigned. • Represents the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner. • Must be able to comprehend basic instructions. • Willingness to ask for help when needed. • Must be on-time to jobsites. • Proficient working with all types of flooring, including by not limited to tile, wood, and carpet. • Basic knowledge on leveling floors, including sanding. • Have basic math skills. • Install all types of flooring. • Must be dependable, professional and safety conscious. • Assumes responsibility for his/her own installation quality, correctness, and cost effectiveness on all assigned tasks. • Develops a good process and “flow” on the jobsite, minimizes down-time, has areas completed before changing work assignments. • Team Oriented-Cooperate with Ritsema field leaders in performing assigned tasks. • • Be willing to complete additional tasks as needed. • Adapts easily to changing priorities. • High quality standards - Inspects job quality and reports problems to Field Leader or Superintendent. • Identifies and recommends solutions for improvements. • Pays special attention to quality of their work. • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
