Reports to: Production Manager Service manager will oversee an assigned territory of contract & company owned wean to finish sites. Responsibilities & Duties:  Train & manage farm staff to ensure proper production practices are followed.  Initial inventory & assessment of newly placed pigs.  Marketing – weekly projections & selection of pigs for market.  Work with maintenance dept. to ensure all site maintenance is current.  Ability to troubleshoot & adjust ventilation.  Accessing health issues and the ability to perform on farm diagnostics. Summary:  This position is responsible for assuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest level or productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining the specification of the customer. Other responsibilities include ensuring all workstation have passed USDA Inspections, promoting a safe work environment, ensuring accurate shipments, and proper coding of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost, employee retention and maintain good working relationships with other production supervisors, USDA (meat), and maintenance employees. Monitors slaughter area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures as sees fit (i.e. provides indirect job specification training/coach and develop employees to obtain results).  Coordinates attendance issues by coordinating personnel to fill vacant or absent positions and minimizing turnover rates. Conducts pre-operational inspection of area, sets up production equipment, and submits maintenance work orders as needed. Ensures area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs. Controls waste by minimizing products sent to inedible and providing sanitary working environment. Manages job changes/rotations. Ensure USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program for product performance and safety. Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities:  Direct supervisor of assigned staff. Education and/or Experience:  Associate's degree from a college; three years’ harvest production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Position Description: LTC is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating manual and CNC machining equipment. This role requires an independent Machinist with great attention to detail and the ability to set up, maintain, and operate machinery. This role will be responsible for producing and reworking high-quality parts which meet strict tolerance specifications. This role will also be vital in developing the LTC machine shop into a fully functioning production shop to increase our manufacturing capability and efficiency. Responsibilities to include: • Operate manual and CNC machines to produce low-volume production parts, making real-time adjustments for optimal performance. • Utilize a manual Lathe and Mill to modify non-compliant components. • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to support production builds, including reworking parts and troubleshooting assembly challenges. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes. • Perform troubleshooting on machine issues. • Specify new equipment and tooling. • Specify and develop fixturing for machining precision parts with moderate complexity. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience operating manual machines in a manufacturing or R&D environment. • Experience with operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) is a plus. • Strong understanding of machining procedures, materials, and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) • Good understanding of G-code and hand-editing code at the machine. • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals. • Strong Mathematical Skills • Analytical skills • Attention to detail • Teamwork and communication skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus • Familiarity with SolidWorks for interpreting designs is preferred.
