Farm Crew Member – Old South Carriage Company Are you passionate about horses and looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic, team-oriented environment? Old South Carriage Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Farm Crew! As part of our team, you'll play a key role in operations by maintaining the health and well-being of our draft horses and additionally transporting them between our scenic 65 acre Farm on Johns Island and the historic stables in downtown Charleston. What You’ll Do: Safely transport horses between our 65-acre farm on Johns Island and our downtown Charleston stables. Maintain and manage our three barns, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Feed, water, and care for our herd, including administering basic healthcare and medications. Groom horses, clean stalls, and prepare draft horses for tours. Assist with daily farm operations, facility maintenance, and small projects. Ensure the overall well-being of our herd while upholding our company’s commitment to excellence. Requirements What We’re Looking For: Confidence and experience in handling draft horses. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Open availability (7 days a week, between 6 AM – 10 PM). A valid driver’s license and the ability to transport horses safely. A professional and hospitable attitude—Charleston’s charm starts with us! Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Benefits Why Join Us? Competitive Pay: Starting at $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and role.
