Reeves Callaway R.I.P 2023. This is an extremely rare opportunity to own the very 1st year of the GM endorsed Callaway Twin Turbo! A response to the Buick GN. B2K option was 20k$ + 28k$ base model price before taxes = 147k$US in today's money. It wasn't just 2 turbos/intercoolers/oil pump, Callaway added forged crankshaft...shorter piston and connecting rods for higher rpms (apex at 3750-4000, 345hp/465lbs, below 14secs 1/4mile). #137 of 188 (184+4). The B2K option ran from 1987-91 before Chevrolet pursued with the ZR1 introduced in 1990. The only one in Canada, all original except 3 "non-matching numbers" items: #1 color matching Targa top instead of the blue tinted glass originally ordered. #2 vintage German BBS wheels, instead of the "salad shooter 1.0" the only wheel option in '87. #3 oldschool Motorola analog cell phone with mounted antenna to rear window (comms towers are now digital so would need customization to make it work again). Original paint has few minor flaws mostly at lower front and hood scoops. Impeccable interior! Fully loaded all original interior, leather seats, BOSE system, etc. Storyline: Spent most of its life in a New Jersey collector’s warehouse, imported in Canada by Lee Munro’s Garage. I acquired it in Feb 2019. Engine rebuilt in 2020, break-in period completed in 2022, engine runs smooth and strong since 2023. Cooling system setup as per instructions from Callaway still timely available for support! Summer 2021, I opened an insurance claim after a lame garage had a fire from a gas spill on the garage floor…I had to replace some plastic parts, only very few minor signs remain (partly hidden when looking from under the engine bay). Many receipts for new OEM parts, but not e.g. exhaust sandblasting coating in 2024, many powder coatings (for easier cleanup), almost everything in top shape!!! 2025: new tires / OD unit serviced (4+3 transmission) / new upper ball joints (to pass safety check) / Driver's door lock switch replaced / recent oil change. EVERYTHING IN ORDER, I’M A PERFECTIONIST! About 32k miles I’m driving it still. I love this vette, but with right offer it's yours. No trades, no tire kickers, will ship overseas via Montreal port or close to New York state by road. Hagerty insurance is crazy cheap. Current book value over 30k$US, make an offer.
