The Shannon Pot, a legendary neighborhood bar in the heart of Long Island City, is looking for an energetic, experienced bartender to join our team. We’re all about great drinks, great vibes, and late nights – and we’re searching for someone who can keep the energy going until last call. What We’re Looking For: Trained bartender with solid knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails Outgoing personality and ability to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere Comfortable working late nights — shifts may go until 4:00 AM Strong multitasking skills: serving drinks, chatting with regulars, and keeping the bar moving smoothly Dependable, responsible, and a true team player What You’ll Do: Mix and serve drinks quickly and accurately Engage with guests and build relationships with our diverse neighborhood crowd Maintain a clean, organized bar area Handle cash/credit transactions responsibly Support bar events (game nights, specials, parties, etc.) What We Offer: A lively, community-driven bar environment Flexible scheduling Competitive hourly pay plus tips The chance to be part of one of LIC’s classic bars as we grow and evolve
