We’re hiring dependable foremen to join the team maintaining the grounds at our Veterans Cemetery. This is hands-on, meaningful work that requires care, respect, and a strong work ethic. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some weekends required) Location: Veterans Cemetery Pay: Competitive compensation Benefits: Paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time Essential Functions: • Perform grounds maintenance tasks using mechanized equipment such as weed eaters, walk-behind mowers, hedge trimmers, edgers, pruners, and leaf vacuums/blowers. • Set up and complete interments, including excavating graves to proper depth, assisting in lifting and placing caskets on lowering devices, and removing, replacing, and lifting crypt and niche fronts. • Accurately identify and locate specified interment spaces using cemetery maps. • Operate large equipment such as tractors and mini excavators. • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful cemetery environment year-round. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Experience with landscaping and cemetery equipment preferred • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Must be dependable, respectful, and able to follow instructions • Strong attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team • Knowledge of use of equipment is a plus Join a team that honors those who served.
