Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Network Manager to join our IT team in a hybrid role (remote and in-office). This is a hands-on technical leadership role, reporting to the VP of Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in network administration and IT infrastructure, with a focus on maintaining the security, reliability, and performance of company systems. This position supports approximately 300 employees, including both onsite staff and fully remote workers, and requires regular in-office presence. Candidates must live within 30 miles of Tampa, FL. The role includes researching new technologies, proposing improvements, managing IT vendors, and helping maintain the IT budget in coordination with the VP of Technology. Working Hours The role follows standard business hours but may require availability after hours and on weekends for incident response, system upgrades, and infrastructure changes to ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities · Manage and support Microsoft Office 365 services to ensure seamless productivity. · Administer server virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix). · Maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy objects. · Oversee mobile device management, focusing on iOS compliance and security. · Implement and manage server backup systems for disaster recovery and data protection. · Configure and troubleshoot VPN access for secure remote connectivity. · Support and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. · Monitor and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. · Implement and manage patching processes for servers and workstations. · Troubleshoot and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure. · Provide support for remote users to ensure secure access and productivity. · Manage office print services and troubleshoot printing issues. · Administer and maintain VoIP phone systems. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. · 5+ years of experience in network administration or related IT infrastructure role. · 3+ years of experience in a technical lead capacity. · Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy. · Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix. · Proficiency with iOS mobile device management tools. · Hands-on experience with VPNs, MFA, and patch management. · Solid LAN troubleshooting skills and remote user support experience. · Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications · Prior experience in a technical management or supervisory role. · Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco, CompTIA Network+, or virtualization platform certifications. · Experience supporting VoIP systems and print management solutions.
