You will work with an expert team focused on implementing and operating next-generation security solutions for government and commercial clients. You’ll use Splunk and integrate it with other state-of-the-art tools like HBSS, Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), Network Security Manager (NSM), NetFlow, and/or Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to monitor, detect, and analyze threats. You'll perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies and apply in-depth defense strategies for large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritizing response actions, including developing effective countermeasures. You’ll support the risk management and security compliance of specified cyber security tools. You'll apply thought leadership to solving complex security challenges in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment. Position Summary: Provide technical design, consultation, information and assistance to internal and external customers under direct supervision to insure that project complies with all engineering standards. The designer will work under the supervision of more senior engineers. Work will be completed in concert with the stated project requirements, all current codes, as well as Prime Electric Engineering Standards. Applicant will be responsible for designing, developing and producing permit and construction documents for electrical systems. Essential Job Functions: • Power Distribution, Signal and Lighting Design • Single line Diagrams and Panel Schedules • Lighting Fixture Selection and Schedules • Lighting Control Diagrams • Title 24 Compliance Calculations • Review shop drawings and specifications • Review, comment and process equipment and system submittals • Visit job sites for field investigations • Voltage drop, load and demand calculations • Coordination with other construction trades and disciplines • Back check of own work for accuracy and completeness before submission to others • Perform coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, process and all electrical trades • Coordinate work with the project specifications or equipment buy-out • Attend project design team meetings.
