I'm looking to sublet a lovely furnished bedroom in my 3 bedroom duplex condominium w/ private roof deck. Just steps away from Prospect Park, in beautiful and vibrant Park Slope Brooklyn! Super friendly neighborhood! We have amazing restaurants, cafe's, bars, and thrift stores! We even have our own Movie theater just down the block, and our own YMCA gym across the street! The F train is just 2 blocks away! 15th street Prospect Park Station: Just a 20 minute ride to downtown Manhattan. About the sublet: This is a fantastic sunny and spacious FURNISHED room! Ideal for flat mate who prefers a quiet, private living space. The room is furnished with a new full size bed, a dresser, bookshelves and a desk. It has 4 wrap around windows, 2 facing the back gardens, and a large closet with storage space. The room is lovely! Perfect for a grad student, or a young professional! Great space to chill with a friend, and super quiet for alone time. About the condo: The condo is a duplex, two levels. Located on the top floor of a 3 story walk up. The first floor is the kitchen, living room, full bath,(w/washer and dryer), and 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the condo. The top floor is the 3rd bedroom/art studio, and our very own roof deck for summer grilling and gardening! About your flatmates: I'm a professional artist, and work from home in my art studio upstairs, but I also travel quite a lot internationally for exhibitions and lecturing. My flatmate is a super busy professional who works full time in the city, and enjoys cooking on the weekends. We are friendly and social, and love to get together for the occasional pot luck dinner! I've had fantastic international students and young professionals live here over the years, and it's worked out really great! About you: Friendly and social, and pays rent on time. Clean and respectful of our home environment. Employed full time with day time office hours, or full time students with day time campus schedule. (No working from home.) Proof of employment/school, and references a must. Must be willing to sign a sublet agreement. Female only. No smoking. No drugs. No drama. And sorry, no pets and no couples. Bills: All utility bills, including Wifi are included in the rent. Rent is $1,500 a month. First month rent and security deposit required to move in. $3,000 total. Available to move in August 1st.
