Its 10th floor location with 2 picturesque, quiet balconies is perfect to watch dolphins w/morning coffee and fireworks over the ocean with evening cocktails. The 3-mile long Boardwalk is right out the back door and accesses the groomed beach, 20 miles of ocean, and everything that VA Beach has to offer--including nightly beachfront entertainment. No lugging coolers and chairs for blocks. Beach Quarters is a 5-star resort & includes a full-time children's activity leader with activity room, rooftop swimming pool with cabana, indoor swimming pool with children's pool area and hot tub, lighted rooftop tennis court and shuffleboard, and a state-of-the-art exercise/health club, complete with a tanning salon, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. There is an integral parking garage for quick and easy unpacking and oversized vehicles can park across the street. Guests are within walking distance of Rudee Inlet, deep-sea fishing, putt-putt golf, jetski/parasail rentals, beach bicycle rentals on site, shopping, museums, dozens of excellent restaurants, and nightspots. Championship golf, VA Marine Aquarium, waterpark, motor city go-carts, and kayaking are within 1-5 miles. A Daytrip to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg is only 1 hour away by VA Beach shuttle. We have owned this condo for 34 years, but our daughter's due date with our second grandchild is very close to our week, so we aren't able to use it this year. The beach is such a safe family place that you can enjoy the beach anytime day or night without worries. The resort is well taken care of and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and there are children's activities available. Our daughter loved the crafty ones--seashell picture frames, tie died t-shirts, etc. and our son enjoyed the sport related pool volleyball, beach scavenger hunt, putt putt games, etc. They make friends to play and swim with all week. The on-site concierge can help you find your favorite activities and has a wealth of restaurant and shopping suggestions. We bring our own kayaks every year and kayak/paddle board out in front of the condo with the dolphins that are there every day. You can also rent kayaks or go with a guide.
