Cozy, two-bedroom cottage on the east side of Keuka Lake. Located in the yard, adjoining our house, you have access to 60 feet of frontage, your own dock, a covered lakeside patio, and a grill and fire pit on both the beach and next to the cottage. Drive to the door. Parking for three cars or two large pickups. Sleeps up to four adults or a family of five with small children. Two bedrooms with double beds. Sofa bed in small living room. Kitchen and dining area. Municipal water supply. Items provided - dishes, glassware, silverware and utensils, pots & pans, toaster, hand mixer, microwave, coffee maker, TV with cable, WiFi, radio/cassette/CD player, vacuum cleaner, pillows and blankets, gas grill, two picnic tables, lawn chairs. Items to bring - linens and pillowcases (three doubles), personal pillows, towels, paper supplies, bar soap, insect repellent. Covered front porch. Large lawn. Level lakefront. Swimming-friendly lake depth. Dock that accommodates up to a 19’ boat. Paddle Boat. Canoe. One mile from the village of Penn Yan - restaurants, movie theater, gas stations, shopping on Main Street, TOPS & Aldis grocery stores. State boat launch within one mile. The Windmill - a very large Mennonite farm and craft market - Saturdays only. Lakeside Country Club golf course within one mile. Oak Hill Bulk Foods is a specialty food store located 3 miles south of Penn Yan. Their cafe is outstanding. If you visit the Windmill, you should venture down the road a bit to experience this store. Check in on Saturday at 2:30PM. Checkout the following Saturday at 10:30AM. 50% rent deposit required to reserve the cottage. Balance of the rent and a $200 security deposit due upon arrival. The security deposit will be refunded the week following the rental assuming everything is okay. Yates County Occupancy Tax of 4%, and NYS 8% sales tax are required to be added to the rental amount. The rent in season (6/7 – 9/6) is $1,000 per week. In early June, September and October we rent by the week at $850, or the weekend at $400. We rent on a first come first serve basis. The remaining weeks this season are June 28-July 5, July 5-12, September 20-27, 27- Oct.4, Oct. 4-11, 11-18 and 18-25. Unlike many other rental cottages, we do not charge a cleaning fee, but we do require that you leave the cottage as neat and clean as you found it.
