Musicians Wanted for Folk Music Project (Felton/Santa Cruz)

Looking for musicians to collaborate with for a 4-5 piece Americana/Irish folk music group - with a tendency to experiment. Looking to do originals, as well as re-worked traditionals from the US, Ireland, and beyond. Think along the lines of Willi Carlisle, The Pogues, Lankum, Lisa O’Neill, Woodie Guthrie, Planxty, Americana songbook, Rhiannon Giddens, Holy Locust, Carolina Chocolate Drops, or even Santa Cruz’s own Devil Makes Three. I like to do everything from sticking to really traditional to being really experimental … take an old traditional and play it on non-traditional instruments, reworked into an odd time signature? Note: guitarists are easy to find, I play myself, so if you play guitar, please also be able to sing lead vocals or be a multi-instrumentalist. I play bass, Irish bouzouki, guitar, tenor banjo, octave mandolin, and a few other things not quite so well, but passable: tin whistle, keys, percussion… Random photo added for attention.
