As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to play a crucial role in our company's growth and success. As a Class A CDL Driver at Alpine Truss, LLC, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for transporting materials and operating specialized equipment for our residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a candidate who is not only experienced and reliable but also shares our commitment to safety, excellence, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and navigate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport materials to job sites across the Central Valley. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal condition, and report any maintenance needs promptly. • Safely operate a boom to lift, position, and place materials in accordance with project requirements and safety guidelines. • Secure and load materials onto the vehicle, adhering to weight distribution limits and safety standards. • Adhere to all federal, provincial, and local transportation regulations and comply with company policies and procedures. • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and deliveries. • Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, project managers, and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics and schedules. • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following established procedures and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Assist with general labor tasks and other on-site duties as needed to contribute to the success of the team. Qualifications: • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and the ability to meet Federal & State regulatory requirements. • Previous experience as a Class A CDL Driver is preferred. • Familiarity with rigging techniques a plus. • Understanding of federal and provincial transportation regulations and commitment to compliance. • Strong attention to safety protocols and dedication to promoting a safe work environment. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team. • Flexibility to work varying hours and weekends as project demands require. • Physical capability to perform the necessary tasks, including lifting and handling heavy materials. • You must possess a clean driving record and a current Medical Certification Card. • In good standing with the FMCSA/Clearinghouse is required.
