Axe Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable and professional Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. This position is drop-and-hook only — no touch freight — with a 6:00 AM start time and home daily schedule. Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting trailers between customer locations, distribution centers, and yards, while maintaining compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Key Responsibilities: Report to the dispatch or terminal location by 6:00 AM each morning. Perform drop-and-hook operations — drop loaded trailers and hook to preloaded or empty trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure all equipment is safe and compliant. Transport loads safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding load updates, delays, or equipment issues. Follow company safety policies and represent Axe Logistics LLC professionally at all times. Qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience. Clean MVR and strong safety record. Experience with drop-and-hook freight operations. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations. Ability to use phone app systems and complete paperwork accurately. Dependable and punctual, with strong communication and time management skills.
