Follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect the collision center’s operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman body technician in a collision repair environment. Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment, including welders, frame machines, and hand tools. Strong knowledge of repair techniques, bodywork, and alignment methods. I-CAR certification is a plus. Ability to read and follow repair plans, damage reports, and manufacturer specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
