Required Education and Experience A degree in structural engineering, and 3+ years of relevant experience. Qualifications Talent, dedication, and passion for building restoration is a must, and we’ll help you build on that foundation. About the Position and Responsibilities You’ll work within a “studio” that offers the dual advantages of a small office environment coupled with access to the centralized resources of a larger firm. You'll be supported by some of the most sophisticated technology in the profession, including proprietary computer systems and software, reality capture, and image processing, artificial intelligence, digital asset management, non-destructive diagnostic equipment and techniques. You'll conduct building investigations, produce reports, and prepare construction documents And be present in the field while your designs are implemented. Applicants must have 5 years of experience in all facets of building exterior envelope, weatherproofing, masonry repair, historic preservation, landmarks, and roofing projects. Ability to work remotely (from home) and independently. Capable to perform visual inspections of exterior facades (from scaffolds and fire escapes) and preparation of the inspection reports including FISP/LL11 reports Ability to inspect and identify deterioration of the various types of the exterior facades Ability to produce a full set of facade repair drawings, details, bid forms, and specifications Construction Administration, including review of the AIA payment applications and change orders Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time Track the construction schedule and budget Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel Scaffold certification and OSHA 10 hour certification are preferred, otherwise must complete within three months from the date of hire, fees are covered by the Company Salary depends on qualifications and experience - $65,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and budgets for drywall, acoustical, and related scopes of work. Track project progress, budgets, and change orders while maintaining strong client communication. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Drywall & Acoustical construction estimating and/or project management. Proficiency with On Center Software estimating software (On Screen Take-Off & Quick Bid) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore). We are an early-stage startup and oftentimes that comes with wearing many hats, which means that you may build the initial version of the mobile app without significant support from other engineers. As the organization scales, you will have the opportunity to scale into a leadership role if your performance is strong and you wish to become a leader.
