Responsibilities Load and unload of delivery trucks (Not exceeding 60 lbs) Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely delivery Deliver to various locations while ensuring accuracy Maintain communication with dispatch to report delivery status Inspect items for damage prior to delivery Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries Adhere to safety guidelines and traffic regulations while driving Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record No experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy items (up to 60 lbs) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation applications Benefits Driver Position – Compensation & Benefits Summary As a 1099 independent contractor working with our delivery team, you will drive a 26ft Box Truck, and will receive the following compensation and benefits: 💵 Compensation Base Pay: $800 per week for a standard 5-day workweek. This pay is based on a full weekly schedule of up to 40 hours total (typically 8 hours per day). ⏱️ Overtime Pay If total weekly working hours exceed 40 hours, any additional time will be paid at a fixed hourly rate. Hourly overtime rate will be calculated based on your weekly pay: For example: $800 ÷ 40 hours = $20/hour overtime rate. All overtime must be pre-approved and documented. 📄 Contractor Status (1099) This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. As a contractor: You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and benefits. You maintain control over how work is performed, within delivery schedule requirements. 🚗 Driver Support Consistent weekly jobs (as available). Assistance and team communication tools provided. Payment is issued weekly on Fridays; however, drivers may request early payment for accumulated earnings as of Wednesday each week. To receive early payment, a request must be submitted by Monday at 10:00 AM. If no request is received, payment will be processed as scheduled on Friday."
