Betty needs a home. 2 1/2 yr old Mixed Breed. (Lansing)

Miss Betty needs a home. Bet is a 2 ½ year old ’21 flavors’ kind of a dog… (DNA testing has shown that she is made up of 21 breeds.) Plott hound, Cattle dog, and Boston terrier make up her strongest percentage. She’s loyal, active, and incredibly smart. A recent divorce, move to another state, and separation from her other resident dog sister has left her very emotionally confused and insecure. Our current living situation consists of a lot of foot traffic near my house – which has not gone over well for her– and inconsistencies in our day-to-day schedule. I love this girl so much... but recognize that I am not the best owner for her right now. She needs a confident soul to pass along the confidence she needs and teach her that all will be okay, and I just don’t have this ability. She desperately needs to have another dog sibling in the family and a fenced in yard would be phenomenal. (that’s what she had in our last house… and flourished.) She loves dog company but may take a while to warm up… to people too. Patience and love is what she needs. I know this is a long shot… but thought I’d put it out there for anyone seeking a sweet challenge that will result in forever love.
