ShareAbout Us: We are a busy architectural signage company based in Long Island City specializing in high-end signage for hospitals, universities, and large commercial campuses. We’re looking for a hands-on fabricator with experience working in metal, plastics, and wood to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: - Cut, drill, tap, and assemble aluminum and plastic components - Execute glue-ups, solvent welding, and adhesive bonding of sign materials - Read shop drawings and work independently to build assemblies - Assist with general fabrication and light carpentry as needed - Occasionally MIG weld aluminum (preferred, not required) - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with a team to meet production deadlines with precision Ideal Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in sign fabrication, metalwork, or similar trade - Comfortable using saws, drills, routers, taps, and basic hand tools - Basic knowledge of adhesives and plastics (e.g., acrylic, PVC, HDU) - Some carpentry experience a plus - Willingness to learn and take direction - Good attitude, strong work ethic, and punctuality are essential Benefits: - Competitive hourly pay ($22–$30/hr DOE) - Health care contribution - Matching 401K - Paid vacation and PTO - Stable hours and a supportive team environment How to Apply: Please reply with your resume and a brief description of your hands-on experience working with metal, plastics, or signage fabrication.
