Temple Judea of Fort Myers, Florida is looking to hire teachers for our Religious School program for the 2025 – 2026 school year. We meet on Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. We are looking for candidates who are creative, curious, flexible, responsive, organized, and enthusiastic about Judaism. Job Details: * Be on site as a teacher for three hours on Sunday mornings and for two hours on Tuesdays afternoon when school is in session. We take off for school breaks and holidays. *Be able to teach Hebrew and Jewish studies (such as ethics, holidays, Torah, and Israel) *Prepare weekly lesson plans based on a curricular outline provided *Compose brief monthly emails to class parents *Attend monthly staff meetings/professional development sessions *Prepare progress reports to parents twice per year (December & May)
