Are you passionate about education, leadership, and making a meaningful impact on children's lives? Workshop Education is on a mission to help children discover their unique strengths and find joy in learning through our dynamic after-school enrichment program. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and student-engaged teacher to one of our after-school program locations serving students in grades K-5. As an after-school teacher, you will co-teach two daily classes: one focused on Study & Life Skills and one on Innovation. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons using our unique curriculum while also incorporating your own creative ideas. This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and leading a team while making a lasting difference in the lives of children. -- Key Responsibilities: Co-Teaching: Teach two daily classes—one in Study & Life Skills and one in Innovation—using Workshop’s annual curriculum plan and your own creative lessons. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the site director/co-teacher to build a supportive, team-driven environment that encourages sharing ideas, solving challenges together, and celebrating student success. Classroom & Site Management: Keep learning spaces clean, organized, and conducive to learning. Positive Discipline: Use positive discipline strategies to foster a respectful, cooperative classroom culture. Individualized Support: Build relationships with students and provide individualized encouragement and academic support. Safety Oversight: Ensure student safety at all times during after-school hours. -- What We’re Looking For: • Strong work ethic, proactive leadership, and a passion for education. • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism. • Skills in building student motivation, confidence, and social-emotional growth. • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). • Creative, solution-oriented, and organized. • Experience working with children in an educational or enrichment setting. • Classroom teaching, or after-school leadership experience preferred. • Child CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). -- 2025-2026 School Year Schedule • Monday - Friday • August 14 - October 10: 11:45 AM - 6:00 PM • October 13 - June 4: 2:10 PM - 6:00 PM • Closed on school holidays and during the summer when school is not in session. -- For more information about Workshop Education and our award-winning enrichment program, please visit: www.workshopeducation.org -- To apply, please reply to this job posting with your cover letter and resume.
