Keyboardist wanted for Jazz / Funk / Soul / Samba Band (Seattle)

Hey there! We’re a group of musicians that have been playing high-energy, groove-heavy music for over 10 years, blending jazz, funk, soul, and samba -- think The Meters meets Aretha Franklin with a touch of Kenny Burrell and Steely Dan. We’re currently seeking a keyboardist / pianist who can bring both feel and flavor – someone who knows their way around a Rhodes, organ, clav, and synth textures and can vibe with improvisation, tight pocket grooves, and warm harmonies. We have many years playing with a keyboardist, and like to leave plenty of room for you to command the arrangement out front, or sit back in the mix. What we’ve got: Drums, bass, guitar, percussion, and vocals locked in. Rehearsal space in Ballard + gigs for 2026 summer festivals in the works around Seattle. Chill but committed atmosphere – we like to have fun, but we take the music seriously. What we’re looking for: Solid chops and good ears.
