Senior Network Engineer & Project Manager (CARSON CITY)

IT Project Manager and Account Manager Company Description: Xogenous is a full-service IT company based in Carson City, NV that provides Managed Services and Data Center Hosting Services to businesses worldwide. Position Description: We have an opening for a Project Manager/Account Manager who is highly skilled at providing excellent customer service and technical expertise to small and medium sized business environments. The qualified candidate will provide in-depth systems analysis, project management, IT consulting, and technical support to multiple clients. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee multiple customer IT projects simultaneously, project planning, oversight of project implementation, scheduling, and customer communication - Provide network and server administration, and IT consultation to multiple clients - Understand client business needs and identify outstanding issues within existing infrastructure - Recommend well researched solutions to make client operations more efficient - Ensure that client infrastructure is healthy, stable, and configured with accepted IT best practices - Stay abreast of client needs at all times, and address those needs with appropriate urgency - Communicate constantly with co-workers and clients to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded - Create documentation for client profiles including network diagrams, instructional procedures, and support guidelines for the Managed Services Department Required Skills: - The selected candidate must be able to write in specific, clear, and coherent English to customers and Xogenous management - The selected candidate must be able to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to customers and Xogenous management - Project planning, resource allocation, and equipment specification along with available project planning tools - Familiarity with Windows Server OS and Virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V platforms - Strong infrastructure troubleshooting skills and techniques to solve complex issues - Excellent customer service and telephone skills, experience in a professional work environment, and ability to take responsibility for supporting multiple applications and network environments - Strong organizational skills - Prepare documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes - Provide 24/7 on-call support for the environment when required Professional Experience Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible IT project management. Relevant industry experience is a plus - Proven successful project planning and management and troubleshooting in a highly technical IT environment - Thorough knowledge of IT best practices - Associates Degree as a minimum; College degree and/or Industry Certifications preferred Compensation commensurate with experience and includes a base salary with performance and other bonuses.
