LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP 1226) OLDER AMERICANS ACT (OAA) TITLE IIIC Senior Nutrition Program – West County The Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) Aging and Adult Services (AAS) Bureau, announces the issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) 1226 seeking public or nonprofit organizations to provide services under the Older Americans Act (OAA) Title IIIC Senior Nutrition Program – West County to eligible adults sixty (60) years of age or older, with emphasis on those in greatest economic and social need with particular attention to low-income minority older individuals, older individuals with Limited English Proficiency, older individuals residing in rural areas within West Contra Costa County, older individuals who are frail and/or homebound due to acute or chronic illness, incapacitating illness or are otherwise isolated which leaves them unable to shop, prepare or obtain meals. Total funding available through RFP 1226 is anticipated to be $247,027 from the Older Americans Act (OAA), Modernizing Older Californian’s Act (MOCA), and Measure X. Agreements procured through RFP 1226 are for the contracting period of January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026. Submission of bids in response to RFP 1226 is due on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. PST, without exception.
