Job Summary Location: Remote/Hybrid – Must reside within 1 hour of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania (Defense Logistics Agency site) Aetos Systems is seeking a Software Programmer to support application design, development, and sustainment for a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer. This is a primarily remote position, but candidates must be located within commuting distance of New Cumberland, PA, for on-site support when requested by the customer. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure application solutions, including user interfaces and backend logic Adhere to secure coding best practices and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance Develop and maintain code using HTML, XML, JSON, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, C-Sharp (C#), Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL), and Microsoft Reporting Services Report Definition Language (RDL) Use development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio (2019–2022), SQL Server Management Studio, and Azure DevOps Create and maintain database structures, reports, and system scripts Collaborate with technical support teams and resolve information assurance (IA) vulnerabilities Must hold an active IT-II clearance or current NACLC at time of submission Requirements Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or minimum of 2 years equivalent experience Required Years of Experience: 5+ years of software development experience Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.: Proficiency with Microsoft development tools and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices Preferred Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.: Experience with DoD or DLA software projects Familiar with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and secure coding standards Proficient in C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, JSON, and RDL Skilled in UI design and database development Hands-on with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Azure DevOps Comfortable writing scripts, batch jobs, and system-level code Strong collaboration, documentation, and troubleshooting skills Benefits What we offer: Competitive salaries Education and professional development assistance Multiple healthcare benefit packages & 24/7 virtual on-demand doctors’ visits 401K Dave Ramsey’s SmartDollar Financial Wellness program Civic Leave – time off to support your favorite charity or community Paid time off for personal leave and holidays
