We have a survey and a split line and a geologic soil analysis done so we are 85% there but we still need some careful persuasive documentation and help negotiating with the County of San Mateo staff. After the basic SB9 split approval then help us a second time. Create an off the shelf building house plan and submit it to get the County to assess if they will accept our existing " non compliant" driveway. We are looking for a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our Walnut Creek office. The person in this position will be responsible for producing construction documents including floor plans, equipment schedules and specifications, managing client expectations throughout the entire life of the project, so they meet the Firm's design and technical standards. This role has regular client interface, including coordinating with utility companies, presentation of project designs and oversight of the construction phase. Design and engineering responsibilities include power distribution systems, grounding, lighting protection, and lighting controls, mostly for commercial buildings. Established multi-discipline engineering firm serving CA, OR, WA, and HI is seeking a full-time, in-office, licensed California Electrical Engineer with unencumbered license, who has familiarity in creating construction documents for the built environment, particularly in California. Necessary experience includes; power distribution, lighting control+design, fire alarm calculations, etc. Must be intimately familiar with AutoCAD/Revit and be able to manage projects and coordinate directly with owners and consultants.
