Our commitment to precision and craftsmanship sets us apart in the industry. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Millwork Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting detailed millwork projects, including the creation of accurate cut sheets and CNC programming. You will work closely with our project management and production teams to ensure that all custom millwork projects are meticulously detailed and ready for manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: ● Drafting & Design: Create detailed and accurate millwork drawings using CAD software based on design specifications and client requirements. ● Cut Sheets: Develop comprehensive cut sheets, including material specifications, dimensions, and assembly instructions, to guide the manufacturing process. ● CNC Programming: Prepare and optimize CNC programs for millwork production, ensuring precision and efficiency in the cutting and shaping processes. ● Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and production staff to ensure that all drawings and cut sheets are accurate and meet project deadlines. ● Quality Control: Review and revise drawings as needed to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and company practices. ● Project Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, cut sheets, and CNC programs for each project. ● Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any drafting or production-related issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Qualifications: ● Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in millwork drafting, with a strong understanding of woodworking and cabinet construction. ● Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and experience with CNC programming ● Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and accurate drawings and cut sheets. ● Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. ● Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the drafting and production process. ● Education: A degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required. A&S Engineers is a full-service Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering firm with locations in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California. We are looking for a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our Walnut Creek office. The person in this position will be responsible for producing construction documents including floor plans, equipment schedules and specifications, managing client expectations throughout the entire life of the project, so they meet the Firm's design and technical standards. This role has regular client interface, including coordinating with utility companies, presentation of project designs and oversight of the construction phase. Design and engineering responsibilities include power distribution systems, grounding, lighting protection, and lighting controls, mostly for commercial buildings. Qualifications • Five years’ experience in the design and documentation of projects. • DSA and HCAI (old OSHPD) experience is a plus. • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is a plus. • Energetic and enthusiastic and adapts to fast-paced environment. • LEED AP is a plus. • California PE registration is a plus.
