AutoCad Drafter (Ballard, Seattle)

Chadwick & Winters Land Surveying is offering a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our multi-generational and family owned firm with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. The right candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience in a land surveying environment. Field surveying experience is a plus. Projects will include boundary and topographic surveys, site plans, as-builts, and detail and exhibit drawings. Eligible candidate will possess the experience to support our business model and a willingness to learn and grow. We offer competitive wages, 401k, Medical and Dental. Eligible for paid time off and generous paid holiday schedule. Wages start at $30 per hour and are commensurate with experience. Typical Duties and Assignments • Draft all aspects of surveying products • Review drawings and building plans • Provide layouts and exhibits • Communicate and interact with project managers, architects, builders, field and office technicians and clients. • Prioritize projects • Collaborate with drafting team Abilities and work habits • Organization and effective use of time • Demonstrated desire and ability to learn, lead and excel • Dependability and attention to detail • Follow oral and written instructions • Positive attitude working in team environment • Work with the team to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations Qualifications • 2 years plus drafting and AutoCAD • Valid Washington State driver’s license • Physically fit and able to lift and carry 30 pounds • Non-smoking For more information about CWLS please see our website www.chadwickwinters.com
