Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Surveyor to join our team. As a Field Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting precise surveys of job sites, taking accurate measurements, and providing detailed reports to our Design and Drafting Department for the final design and production of architectural metal elements. Key Responsibilities: • Conducting on-site surveying to gather accurate measurements of structures and spaces. These dimensions are used for final design and production. Accuracy is paramount. • Preparing detailed drawings, sketches, maps, and reports based on survey data. • Accurate digitalization/transferring of collected field surveying data to CAD files for use by our Design and Drafting Department Team. • Collaborating with the Design, Drafting, and Fabrication Teams to ensure accurate project execution. • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met. • Coordinating with Fabrication Team to ensure adherence to design specifications. • Regular communication with Inspection of the fabrication process for accuracy and matching design of representing matching of field conditions. • Providing technical support and guidance to the Fabrication Team. Qualifications: • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical and mathematical skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Work Responsibilities ● The BIM & VDC Coordination Engineer is expected to provide coordination skills in support of the creation of detailed and accurate BIM models. ● This position will set the course for the digital delivery, coordination and collaboration of project teams within a large and fast-moving project. This includes working with peers, consultants, discipline leads and executive management through the numerous efforts within the master project(s). ● Introduce, support, and oversee the implementation of industry leading BIM technology. ● The ideal candidate will be responsible for proper setup, maintenance and review of design efforts.
