Systems Engineer – Long Beach Sierra Cybernetics is seeking an experienced Network Operations Center Systems Engineer with 4+ years experience in Systems Administration and Systems Engineering to work for us supporting our Port of Long Beach client. You will assist the NOC managing and supporting several hundred servers, 99% virtual, for the Port’s network and systems infrastructure. The position is expected to be approximately 9+ months contract assignment. Fully onsite at the Port offices in downtown Long Beach. Open to US citizens, green card holders, and H1-b visa holders. We are a small local company looking for the right person to join our team as a cable installer. The right person knows how to terminate CAT6, Coax, and phone, and is comfortable with Fiber installation. UniFi experience is a plus. This is a junior role working along side a senior installer to run new cable, trouble existing cable and install network equipment, including but not limited to cable, hardware, cameras, speakers, racks, and more. We are looking for someone with pervious installation experience and salary is dependent on previous experience.
