Responsibilities: Vehicle Transportation: • Operate commercial vehicles including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other specialized equipment to transport vehicles, parts, and equipment to and from customer locations, suppliers, and other facilities. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards. Route Planning, Navigation, process adherence: • Must have ability to utilize technology and scan QR codes. • Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and maximize fuel. • Communicate with dispatch and management to provide updates on route progress, estimated arrival times, and any deviations from planned routes. • Understand and execute internal and external procedures on how to pick up and drop off a unit and store that unit in all production and parking facilities. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities, last-minute requests, and unexpected challenges. • Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills to address on-the-road issues, such as mechanical breakdowns, traffic delays, route changes while minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely delivery. • Collaborate with dispatch, mechanics, and other team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions in real-time.
