This position is not remote and requires living in the surrounding areas. About the Position Manage, motivate, and effectively supervise a team of Application Developers on the IBM i (Power Systems) platform Effectively discern user and business needs, translate those needs to actionable requirements, and communicate realistic expectations Engage with team members and end users to solicit collaboration, facilitate productivity, and clarify program intent Identify and schedule work to meet company priorities and goals Partner with other IT department managers to coordinate project activities and promote a team environment Utilize business and technology experience to solve problems and innovate diverse software solutions Provide technical support, mentorship, training, and cross-training for team members Collaborate, maintain heightened awareness, and ensure commitment to support of all security and compliance requirements and cyber response plans Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the Company Participate in staffing decisions Test, troubleshoot, and program as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Application Development, or related Computer Science program 3 years’ project lead or management/supervisory experience 5 years’ experience with RPG IV / ILE RPG in a business environment Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships Experience in manufacturing and wood products is highly preferred Demonstrated sense of urgency and commitment to achieve efficient and accurate results Independently motivated, detail-oriented, and able to maintain focus on long-term projects Proven problem-solving and time-management skills Committed to the highest levels of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality Why Join Our Team?
