ShareEvening Custodian – School Facility (Baton Rouge, LA) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM (hours may vary with school events) Compensation: $11.00 Role Overview: The Evening Custodian helps keep our school clean, safe, and secure after the instructional day ends. This position is key in making sure classrooms and common areas are ready for the next day. Primary Duties: Sweep, mop, and vacuum classrooms, offices, and hallways. Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper goods and soap. Empty trash cans and remove waste to proper collection areas. Spot clean windows, doors, and walls. Lock doors, turn off lights, and secure the building before departure. Report any damage or maintenance issues to the lead. Requirements: Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to pass a background check per Louisiana school standards.
