GAC Enterprises, LLC is a well-established telecommunication construction company looking for a Telecom Project Manager to join our New Mexico team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. They will work closely with clients, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction, and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a salaried position, with work times to be determined by the needs of the project and company. In addition, the Project Manager will receive and be responsible for a Company vehicle, Cell Phone, Laptop, and Company Credit Card. All items are subject to audit and are to be used for the strict and sole purpose of performing job functions. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets Set project milestones and monitor progress toward goals Resolve conflicts and identify potential risks or issues Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Prepare project reports and present updates to clients and management Work with field supervision to manage project risk and give direction based on information Deal with day-to-day customer interactions to ensure project needs Perform weekly audits on a project to verify progress, ensure quality, and meet forecast projections Hold weekly Project overview meetings with the field team Audit all project closeout packages to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables to the customer Ensure field personnel is adhering to all company policies and procedures Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance Travel as needed Additional duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field 5-8 years of experience in construction management or related field Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques Strong communication and leadership skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to read engineering drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enforces all Environmental Health & Safety policies and leads by example and drives a culture of Safety & Quality as a core value across project teams. Ability to manage large portfolios and multiple project teams Monitor and ensure portfolio level cash flow, risk assessment and mitigation Subject matter expert to provide necessary guidance to the project team as needed. Create and/or update policies in conjunction with the management team Manage to achieve positive outcomes with clients on project disputes Comfortable with presenting portfolio level updates to management. Assist Teams with training and development activities. Hire and Train project managers in job function. Provide additional support for development and training of Team members. Track and manage all actions on Project Action List. Develop project execution plan that encompasses the complete scope of work required for a successful project. Manage production per the execution plan and review/adjust it with Superintendents as needed Management of EPC, vendor and subcontractor contracts with specific focus on vital terms such as, force majeure, notifications, schedule, LDs, IRA compliance, and other risks and compliance items Not only have a complete understanding of client specifications and requirements but also ensure compliance during pre-planning, preconstruction, construction, and closeout. Work with project controls to establish and maintain project schedule to meet all EPC milestones. Ensure the compliance with all project permitting and regulatory requirements such as SWPPP, local permitting, AHJ Specific town requirements, building and electrical permits. Timely and concisely communicate schedule, cost, quality and safety concerns to Management Negotiate change orders to the benefit of the company Manage, develop, and maintain subcontractor relationships Create and maintain a thriving team culture at the project site. Coaches employees on cultural improvements.
