Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and productive belt-on carpenter with at least 3 years of experience who can work on all phases of construction. Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring: • Proven on-the-job carpentry experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfort using technology for planning and implementation Skills: • Completes work efficiently, accurately, and safely • Able to take direction while contributing to problem-solving • Understands tasks fully and executes to completion • Owns a full set of trade tools, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone • Physically able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on stairs, ladders, planks, and scaffolds • Reads and interprets building plans and basic codes • Strong grasp of construction math • Clear verbal and written communication skills • Highly detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices Wages and Benefits: As a workers’ cooperative, pay is based on internal scales designed to provide fair, competitive wages. L&I worker injury insurance, PTO, and mileage reimbursement begin immediately. After a waiting period of 30-days, health insurance becomes available and in time, additional benefits including tool stipend, retirement, and profit sharing become available, based on time with the company, company performance, and ownership status. Project Types: Custom residential remodel and new construction ranging in value from $50K - $1M+
