Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Weekend Position Location: Spring Valley / La Mesa / San Diego Compensation: Approx. $1,200 per weekend Employment type: Part-time / Weekend live-in About Us: We are a Level 4I Adult Residential Facility providing 24-hour behavioral and daily living support for adults with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help residents live with independence, dignity, and community inclusion in a safe and supportive environment. Position Summary: We’re seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work Friday night, Saturday day and night, and Sunday day and night. Weekends usually involve taking residents out into the community, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring a positive, structured home environment. Schedule: Friday Night Saturday Day & Night Sunday Day & Night Approx. $1,200 total for the weekend Duties Include: Supervise and support residents in daily routines Assist with hygiene, grooming, and personal care Administer medications per facility policies Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home Document daily activities, behaviors, and progress notes Transport and accompany residents on community outings Implement behavior and individual service plans Promote independence, dignity, and positive behavior Respond to emergencies and follow all safety procedures Qualifications: Must be 21+ years old Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record Must pass Live Scan fingerprinting, TB test, and Health screening Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain) DSP 1 & DSP 2 preferred Experience in Level 4I or behavioral residential settings strongly preferred How to Apply: Reply to this ad with your resume, contact information, and a short note about your experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
