Bar Manager — NoLita/Bowery Bar NYC Location: Nolita, Manhattan
 Compensation: Hourly + Tips + Weekly Management Stipend DOE
 Schedule: Two admin days (preferably early week) + weekend brunch lead shifts required We are the original flagship location of a nationally loved brand, and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Bar Manager to join our team. We’re a high-volume, neighborhood-focused cocktail bar known for keeping things fun, fast, and consistent. As Bar Manager, you’ll work closely with our General Manager and leadership team to uphold the standards that define our bar: great drinks, good food, and a sense of community that keeps our regulars coming back day after day (and night after night). This role combines operational oversight with active bartending and leadership. You’ll take ownership of beverage programs, vendor relations, and cost control while also serving as a key supervisory presence on the floor — especially during weekend brunch, one of our busiest and most important shifts. Key Responsibilities * Maintain healthy beverage cost and inventory controls * Oversee weekly ordering, weekly invoicing, and vendor relationships * Submit monthly inventory to GM and Accounting Dept * Develop and execute new cocktail features and menu updates * Communicate recipes, specs, and details to the bar staff * Negotiate vendor sponsorships and manage brand partnerships for events * Work with GM to create new events and planning * Address maintenance and facility needs in tandem with the General Manager * Lead weekend brunch service, ensuring smooth operations and team alignment * Conduct staff training and uphold company standards of hospitality The Ideal Candidate * Has prior bar management or lead bartender experience in a high-volume NYC venue * Brings strong product knowledge (spirits, craft cocktails, beer, and wine) * Is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about problem-solving * Thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example behind the bar * Can balance administrative responsibilities with on-the-ground service leadership * Is available for mandatory weekend brunch shifts and two weekday admin days * Additional PM shifts may be available depending on schedule and candidate needs *Bonus points for coffee/ barista experience Why Join Us As a bar group, we’ve grown to multiple cities because we invest in people who care about consistency, creativity, and community.
