Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join us in supporting operations with hauling, loading, and transporting equipment and materials. Position Overview   We are looking for a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to operate a manual transmission (stick shift) dump truck. The role includes hauling materials, loading/unloading construction equipment, and supporting daily field operations. The right candidate will be safety-minded, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with our crews to keep projects moving smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a tandem axle dump truck with manual transmission * Haul and deliver aggregate, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials * Transport and load/unload light and heavy construction equipment as needed * Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations * Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and related documentation * Ensure proper securement of loads in compliance with safety standards * Assist with job site needs, including staging materials and supporting crews when required * Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures Requirements * Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record * Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (construction hauling preferred) * Ability to drive a manual/13-speed stick shift transmission * Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety compliance * Ability to load/unload and secure equipment and materials safely * Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to teamwork * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam Preferred Qualifications * Experience hauling and operating dump trucks in construction environments * Familiarity with heavy civil construction projects * Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment checks and troubleshooting What We Offer * Competitive pay based on experience * Steady, year-round work with opportunities for overtime * Health and safety-focused work environment * Opportunity to grow with an expanding company * Supportive team culture with long-term stability How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume and contact information to Don.sozzi@dandlconst.com.
