Benchling, Inc., in San Francisco, CA seeks multiple Software Engineers. Responsibilities: Responsible for product modules used directly by scientists to work with their data; design the applications to include DNA editing tools, lab notebooks, sample tracking, workflow designs and more; own projects end-to-end from initial design to prototype to large-scale rollout; design and implement backend models and API endpoints; work with product managers, designers, marketing, and sales to ensure that we build the right product for the right client. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Salary range: $165,000 - $185,000. Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: 6 months of experience designing backend models and API endpoints using the Python, SQLAlchemy, and GraphQL languages; 6 months of experience designing frontend components and architecture using Typescript and React; and 6 months of experience building CI/CD pipelines.
